All our products are available for collection from our Oldtown Construction workshop, with most of our products available for Delivery, and some of them available by Collection Only. Our delivery costs are calculated by the total weight of an order, made up entirely of deliverable items.

We have partnered with Fastways Couriers to provide our delivery service. Please allow 1-2 days for delivery. We have been given weight and dimensional limits for what Fastways Couriers can and will deliver for us. Everything from the following categories are examples of what can be delivered:

• Bolts & Fixings
• Animal Drinkers & Plumbing
• Clamps, U Bolts & Threaded Bar
• Tools, Consumables & PPE

Many products from our other categories are also available for delivery. Delivery costs are calculated in the background when your order is being processed. Delivery will not be presented as an option if there is a Click & Collect Only item in your order.

What if my order weighs more than 60KG?

We sell a lot of heavy products, but do not expect a typical order weight of deliverable products to be more than 60KG. If that is the case, a notification will present at the Checkout to contact our Sales team to work out the most suitable system of delivery for you. In our aim to maintain fair and reasonable prices, alternative delivery methods can be arranged for heavy orders (+60KG). For that reason, our dedicated Sales team will work with you to provide an efficient, effective delivery of your items.

Please do not place an order by Click & Collect before enquiring for delivery of heavy orders (+60kg).

It may take longer to provide alternative delivery methods. If you need your products urgently, we recommend splitting your order, or make separate transactions, to lessen the weights, which will make the Delivery option available.

Note: each transaction will have its own delivery charge, and no discount will be made for the delivery of split orders, even when the orders arrive together at the same time.

What if I have a mixed basket – deliverable + collection only items?

When there is a mixed basket, the delivery option is not available at the Checkout. If you wish to have the deliverable items delivered, we recommend making separate orders for the deliverable items and click and collect only.

Can someone else collect items for me?

Yes of course. If a customer wishes to pay for their own courier/delivery service, our team will be here to assist in the loading of the order and a collection email will be sent to the order owner when the order has left our yard. The contract between the customer and the collector is entirely their own. Once the order has left our yard with the collector, Farmbuild.ie accepts no responsibility, financially or otherwise, for the handling, security, or delivery time of the order.

Our dedicated Sales team can be contacted by phone or email and are more than willing to assist you in finding a courier/delivery service provider suitable for you and your order.

Private individuals collecting items on your behalf should have the order name and order number with them when making their collection. A collection email will be sent after the order has left our yard. Notification must be given for collections to be made outside of business hours (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm). Our staff will do their utmost to accommodate order collections, any day at any time. Please speak with our Sales team for more details.

What do I do when my delivery arrives?

In accordance with Fastways Couriers policy, someone is expected to sign for orders when they arrive. An order tracking number will be sent to you in the dispatch email. Communications regarding the delivery will then be between the courier and the customer. We do not require confirmation that your order has arrived. If your order has not arrived within 3-5 business days, please contact us so we can ensure your order is on its way.

Collection Only

Some of our items, for their weight or awkwardness of transport, are not currently available for delivery. This includes plywood and timber stock lengths, all steel stock and cut to length, and some of our other larger, heavier products such as manholes. Many of these products require a trailer, truck or another heavy weight bearing vehicles to be transported safely. If you are unsure about what you may need to collect your order, our Sales team are always here to offer advice, however we accept no responsibility, financially or otherwise, for privately organised transport, the loading or unloading of an order or the security of the load while in transit. Assistance in loading orders is complementary, but if falls on the owner to ensure the load is safe and secure before leaving our yard.
